  9. Could anyone help me? I have just bought a knitmaster Es 302 from ebay. I am very excitted and keen to get knitting but the machine has not got an instructions manual with it and I am not sure how to set it up properly. This is my first knitting machine so I really have no idea how to use it!

    1. Thanks Nicola, I too have the 302 (one of my first machines!) To use it, it is very similar to any other standard gauge knitting machine and you can use many of the techniques that you can find on YouTube. The only thing that is different is the patterning facility on the 302, which, if a tad tedious allows you to create fairisle, tuck and slip patterns according to pattern cards. These cards tell you how to set up the machine. Here is a link to the manual https://www.box.com/shared/3e2gny40s0
