Latest sweater on Brother 965i

Hi everyone - sorry for not posting in a while - again you get busy doing other things!

Here is my latest sweater for me knit in Bramwell Savannah 4 ply Cotton. Its an Iris Bishop 2 colour slip pattern - I used 2 colours but the pattern actually calls for 4 colours. The sweater is my own design but the stitch pattern as I mentioned is Iris Bishop.

Thats all for now!

  1. Great job Alex! Nice combination of color with the design and trim. You like the deep necklines huh?

  3. That is very nice phil! I really like the deep v necklines I think the slip stitch pattern worked out nicely in two colours, but does it not now become fairisle? :P

  4. Hi Alex - thanks. No its two colour slip stitch, not fairsile - no floats at all!

  5. That is what I am trying to achieve, a two or more coloured pattern without floats. I did buy a colour changer like you recommended, haven't tried it yet though. I am busy getting the missing accessories for it. That, added with family descending on us in a couple of weeks so busy sorting out ready for that. Oh, and making some new curtains too.

I love the deep neckline on your sweater, gives room for anything worn underneath to really show.

Did you ever get the double jacquard sorted out? Apparently with my colour changer I can do that too but I think that is not in the immediate future, especially after reading your blog lol. If you can't master it what chance do I have?

  6. Hi Phil, this is about a previous post, the one where you knitted the little Santa face. I was wondering how the ends behaved when you tied them off, rather than weaving them in. I am thinking of trying that, but need some guidance from someone that has done it. My email is chinadoll2055@hotmail.com I am worried that they might come loose in the wash & unravel. What do you think?? Thx
